Day 1
Travel from Amman airport to Wadi Rum village
We arrive at Queen Alia airport in Amman where pre-arranged transport will pick us up from the airport and take us to Wadi Rum village taking approximately 4 hours. The afternoon/evening will be spent settling in.
Day 2
Climbing in Wadi Rum - Intro
We will start with a bit of an introduction to get to know each other and the place a little. The majority of the day will be spent scrambling/hiking and easing ourselves into the new environment.
Day 3
Climbing in Wadi Rum - Short multi-pitch route
We will spend the day climbing a short(er) muti-pitch route and return back to the village late afternoon.
Day 4
Climbing in Wadi Rum - Long multi-pitch route + overnight camp.
Today will be a fairly early start, we will spend all day climbing a much longer multi-pitch route and will camp out overnight.
Day 5
Climbing in Wadi Rum - Return to Wadi Rum village
We will spend today making our descent back to the village after our overnight camp and have a relaxed evening to recharge.
Day 6
Climbing in Wadi Rum - Choice of route/hike
Today we be our final day in Wadi Rum and an opportunity to choose something to tackle as a group, so if there is anything that has caught your eye this is the chance to do it.
Day 7
Travel from Wadi Rum to Wadi Musa
We will travel via pre-arranged transport to Wadi Musa where we will be staying at a hostel located close to Petra. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. This will be the first opportunity for a hot shower and a proper bed. After a week in the desert this feels like luxury.
Day 8 - 9
Petra
We will spend the next 2 days exploring Petra and Wadi Musa. There is so much to see here and a fair distance to walk so we can take our time and explore to our hearts content.
Day 10
Travel from Wadi Musa to Amman
Our final day in Jordan. We will take pre-arranged transport back to Queen Alia airport in Amman and return home with the memories and experiences that will last a lifetime.
